Chevrolet Bel Air
The car is a true hot rod. It has a 454 big block with a turbo 400 trans. and a 12 bolt rear. It sits on a truck frame because of the big motor. I didn't think the 53 frame would be strong enough. It has power disc brakes, power steering, tilts steering and is a 4 door. The rear door handles have been removed and filled in but are still functional but it has no back seat because it has a roll cage in it. It has leather bucket seats in the front with red bandana pattern door panels. If you are looking for a true hotrod, this is definitely it. It is a really tough looking car and a conversation piece every where it goes. I am selling it for so cheap because I want to start another project. There are still a few minor things that need to be done to the car to make it a reliable driver but I have not had the time to do it. I still drive the car from time to time around town and it is ok to do that but I would not drive it long distance until I have had the drive shaft made 1.5 inches longer. You can have a whole new driveshaft made for less than 150 dollars. I would also replace the stock steering box flange with a universal joint because it is too sharp of an angle in the steering column and it does not turn as smooth as it would with a u-joint in it. That part is about 50 dollars on Jegs.com. If I can answer any more questions about the car I will be more than happy to. I know how it is buying stuff on the internet without being there to look at it first. If you see the car you would be happy with the looks and performance of the car. On a good note, it does have a brand new wiring harness from front to back. It is one of those painless kits with plenty of extra wiring for extra stuff like a/c, a radio or anything you wanted to add to it later. If you have any questions about it and you want to talk to me personally don't hesitate to call me
